Design of Polymer Plasticization Scheme

Macromolecular material is a general term for a large class of materials based on polymer compounds. They are materials composed of compounds with relatively high molecular mass, including rubber, plastics, fibers, coatings, adhesives and polymer-based composites. Polymer materials have a wide range of uses in our lives, but there are few varieties of pure polymer materials and their properties cannot fully meet people's needs. The modification of polymer materials increases the variety of polymer materials and improves performance of polymer materials, so that polymer materials can satisfy people’s needs as much as possible.

The modification of polymer materials is to improve the original properties of polymer materials through physical, mechanical, and chemical process. Both physical and chemical changes can occur during the modification process. The modification of polymer materials is generally divided into blending modification, chemical modification, surface modification, filling and fiber reinforcement modification. The basis of polymer material modification is that the structure of polymer material determines the properties of polymer material. If a certain polymer material cannot meet the actual needs, its properties can be changed to meet the actual needs by changing its structure. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the influence of the structure of polymer materials on their properties for the properties of extension materials.
